Principal Structural Engineer and Ownership Opportunity

Duties
As a principal you will assume responsibility of projects from the inception of its design to the completion of construction. Duties include communications and coordination with clients, prepare design criteria, design procedures, produce framing concepts, prepare and supervise the development of calculations, supervise creation of structural drawings and oversee the projects’ completion through the construction phase. In addition, you will partake in the decision making along with the company’s current ownership of the firm’s management and operations.
Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited University

California Structural Engineer (SE) or (PE) License

Familiarity with current building codes and design standards

Proficiency and clarity in communicating verbally and in writing in English

Ten or more years’ experience in the design of building structures

Proficiency in the use of engineering software such as Bentley/Ram, Mathcad, etc.

Compensation
The firm offers a competitive salary and a benefits package including Profit Sharing.

California Professional Civil Engineering License

Familiarity with current building codes and design standards

Proficiency and clarity in communicating verbally and in writing in English

Seven or more years’ experience in the design of building structures

Proficiency in the use of engineering software such as Bentley/Ram, Mathcad, etc.

The firm offers a competitive salary and a benefits package with yearly bonus.
